ABOUT FRIBOURG
They include three sectoral clusters, five centers of expertise, a material sciences research center (AMI), the technology platform INNOSQUARE and a dedicated technology transfer office.
On top of all this, the Fribourg School of Engineering and Architecture has 10 applied research institutes in three distinct fields: information and communication technologies, construction and environment, and industrial technologies. They work hand in hand with companies to find novel solutions and develop innovative products and processes.

Bureau de transfert de technologie de l’Université de Fribourg, de l’Institut Adolphe Merkle, de la Haute école de gestion de Fribourg et de la Haute école d’ingénierie et d’architecture de Fribourg, TechTransfer Fribourg renseigne sur les questions de propriété intellectuelle et sert d’interface entre la recherche académique et les entreprises.
INNOSQUARE
INNOSQUARE est une plateforme technologique qui aide les entreprises à développer et à concrétiser leurs idées innovantes, et facilite les projets collaboratifs mono- et multisectoriels qui réunissent l’industrie, le secteur public et le monde universitaire.
ADOLPHE MERKLE INSTITUTE
L’Institut Adolphe Merkle (AMI) est un centre d’excellence pour la recherche et l’enseignement des nanosciences et des sciences des matériaux. Grâce à des collaborations avec des partenaires industriels, l’AMI cherche à stimuler l’innovation et à favoriser la compétitivité industrielle. L’AMI abrite également le Bio-Inspired Materials National Center of Competence in Research (NCCR), de renommée internationale.
